Veteran journalist Letty Jimenez Magsanoc, Editor in Chief of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, died at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City Thursday evening.
“ The country has lost a bedrock of journalism. And we, the Inquirer family and her family in the profession, mourn the incalculable loss of a well-loved mentor and friend. We pray for strength in this hour of bereavement,” the Inquirer in a statement.
