Phoenix slalom 6th leg goes to Pampanga

JOIN the sixth installment of the Phoenix National Slalom Series this Sunday at the Robinsons Starmills Pampanga. 

Experience the thrill watching drivers execute 180- and 360-degree turns and savor the perks of shopping at Robinsons Starmills. 

Registration is slated from 8 a.m. onwards.

Open practice runs are set from 8 to 10 a.m. In between is a free slalom clinic from 9 to 10 a.m., before the official practice runs  at 11 a.m. 

Each driver will only be given one official practice run despite the number of classes or cars he/she is entered. Each participating driver will receive 4 liters (one gallon) of Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil. 

Rainier Tinio of Cabanatuan Auto Club, one of the most promising young slalom drivers in the series, makes his move during a past staging of the Phoenix National Slalom.

Contenders must use the specified Federal Tyres for at least nine or 75% of the series and possess the Automobile Association of the Philippines Clubman license in order to accumulate points for the rank of Overall and Class Champions. 

The national slalom events are affiliated with the AAP and the FIA and is the longest-running motorsports discipline in the country. 

The event is presented by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil, with major sponsors Federal Tyres, Outlast Battery, Robinsons Starmills. It is also supported by Starbright Body Kits, Auto Transporter, Aeromed, Cars Unlimited Fairview and Mark Young Racing, with media partners Stoplight TV, C! Magazine, Auto Car Magazine, Power Wheels Magazine, and Ride and Drive Philippines.

Winners of the fifth leg last June 25 will also be awarded.
