An earthquake jolted residents of Albuera, Leyte on Wednesday morning.
The Philippine Institute if Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reports, magnitude 5.1 earthquke hit the town at 6:26 am.
Its epicenter was located 5 kilometers north-east of Albuera.
PHIVOLCS says, it was tectonic in origin.
Intensity 5 was felt in Ormoc City.
Intensity 4 was experienced in Pastrana town while the tremor registered at Intensity 3 in Tacloban City and Palo town.
There was no report of any injuries resulting from the earthquake.
