Critic’s plea

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV tells Thursday’s Kapihan sa Senado he has asked the Commission on Elections to exempt him from the 2019 election gun ban due to alleged threats to his security. Trillanes, a staunch critic of President Rodrigo Duterte, said the threats continued to persist as he recalled the previous pronouncements against him by the chief executive whom he described as ‘vindictive.’ Ey Acasio
