Banaag assumes post as Bright Kindle director

Clark Banaag became the youngest mining director at 25 when he assumed office as a director of Bright Kindle Resources, a publicly-traded company listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange on Dec. 15.

The company elected 11 directors with four new directors (two regular and two independent directors). Banaag was elected as one of the regular directors for 2021-2022.

Banaag said he would contribute his management vision to secure the company’s success. He is serving as the chief risk officer and director of BenguetCorp Nickel Mines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Benguet Corp. and vice president of Arrow Freight Corp., a logistics and warehouse company based in Valenzuela City.

In 2018, he was elected in public office as the SK Chairperson of Sampaga, Batangas City where he established Banaag Project, a free college entrance exam review program for underprivileged youth of Batangas province. Banaag earned his agricultural economics degree at UP Los Banos and his Juris Doctor at UP Diliman.
