Viva actress Rhen Escaño had nothing but gratitude as she welcomed the new year with an outpouring of blessings. Recently, she was chosen as the first brand ambassador of Malaysian-owned CC6 Online Casino, which won the Most Trusted Casino award at the prestigious Gawad Filipino Awards last year.

“I’m so happy and my pleasure to be part of a new family. CC6. Thank you so much for having me,” expressed Rhen.

According to Rhen, it’s a huge honor for her to be entrusted as an endorser of the said online gaming app.  Aside from considering it as a blessing, she also saw the opportunity of being an endorser to break the stigma of online casinos. She said that she was aware of her new role as a celebrity endorser, especially since it involved what could be considered an addiction, gambling.

“Just because it’s an online casino doesn’t mean that people will only get bad or negative things from it. I will make sure that first and foremost, I will not be a bad influence on my followers,” Rhen said.

The young actress also pointed out the positive aspects of CC6 Online Casino. such as charity work and helping people.

“I accepted this project because it’s not just an online casino but because it also involves charity work and helps people. It does not encourage people to play, gamble, or spend their money, but rather to spend it wisely,” she explained.

She also emphasized that it’s important to play in moderation and wisely, as it could also be a means of helping others.

When asked about her role as CC6’s ambassador, Rhen mentioned that she will personally participate in charitable events such as feeding programs and medical missions in remote barangays.

The press then got to ask the actress what was the biggest gamble in her career, she referred to her decision to enter the sexy genre, particularly in the film Adan, as a significant risk that paid off. However, she said that she had no regrets about her daring career choices, acknowledging the courage and determination required for such roles.

“For me, when I was just starting, I really went through a lot. It felt like nothing was happening. It’s like I was given a coin that when I toss it or when I bet on it, it’s either I’ll make it or I’ll break it,” she stated.

Currently, Rhen is part of two television series, Can’t Buy Me Love on ABS-CBN and Lumuhod Ka sa Lupa on Viva and TV5.

“It’s like we’re all the same. If you don’t take risks, how can you get to where you want to go? If we lose, it’s okay. At least, you tried. But it’s more regretful if you didn’t take a chance and nothing happened. It’s better to get tired and fail, knowing that you tried and gave your best,” added Rhen.
