The Philippine Air Force (PAF) two-day Health and Wellness Fair concluded on May 24 at the Villamor Air Base Golf Club with PAF chief Lieutenant General Stephen Parreño, as the guest of honor.
More than a hundred patients, including military personnel, civilian human resources, dependents, and community members, benefited from the free medical and dental consultations, as well as diagnostic and screening services offered at the fair.
The event also featured a symposium on physical and behavioral sciences and occupational health, led by medical experts, doctors, and health practitioners.
In closing, the Air Force chief underscored the critical role of health in the daily performance of duties and responsibilities.
He stressed that true excellence is attainable only with a sound mind and a healthy body.
LTGen Parreño extended his gratitude to the organizers, lecturers, healthcare professionals, partner stakeholders, and all participants who contributed to the success of the event.
