The Cordillera Autonomous Region ( CAR) has signed a deal with two privately owned supplies of renewable energy meant to ensure “equal sharing of financial advantages from regional enterprises.”
This agreement was forged between CAR’s Regional Development Council on one hand, and the SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet and SN Aboitiz Power-Magat (SNAP), on the other hand.
RDC co-chair Edna Tabanda and Apayao Gov. Elias Bulut, Jr. both welcomed the deal as beneficial to the region.
James Manimtim who represented the Aboitiz firms, emphasized the need for stakeholder collaboration in accelerating regional sustainability development.
