The Rizal Provincial Government, led by Acting Gov. Jhun Rhey San Juan, has continued distributing relief goods for tricycle drivers and operators, this time in Cainta, a first-class municipality.
San Juan said this was intended to meet the needs of tricycle drivers whom he described as also Frontliners who deliver riders to their entrances or markets.
Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto was also present and distributed relief goods.
San Juan, Board member Ross Glenn Gongora, and Nieto distributed at least 4,000 relief packs to the tricycle drivers and operators association.
Up to 40,000 more relief goods were previously distributed in the towns of San Mateo, Montalban, Pililia, Jalajala, and Taytay, officials said.
