English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is serenading local fans with his appearance on GMA’s “All-Out Sundays” tomorrow, Aug.15.
After teasing television viewers with “most in-demand pop star on the planet” and “one of the world’s best-selling music artists” posts on social media, the program finally already revealed that 30-year-old superstar is its special guest for this week.
“We're probably THINKING OUT LOUD but this Sunday's performance will be truly PERFECT as singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran goes ALL-OUT,” the show said in a social media post.
The singer was announced to perform his newest single “Bad Habits,” which was released on June 25 and has racked up more than 253 million streams since release.
Ed’s last live performance in the Philippines was way back in 2018 when he staged the concert “Divide”.
In an interview ahead of his performance, Ed mentioned that Filipinos have a special place in his heart.
"The first time I came to the Philippines and I've never ever felt that much love from a place ever (…) There's no other place on Earth that has fans like the Philippines," the singer shared during the interview.
Moreover, Ed has also mentioned that if the pandemic did not exist at this time, he would probably go back to the Philippines for another concert.
