Smart Communications Inc. (Smart) said its 5G network is constantly being upgraded and optimized to provide the best mobile experience to its subscribers.
Eric Santiago, first vice president and head of network strategy and engineering at PLDT and Smart, said its 5G network was recognized by Opensignal for having the best 5G coverage experience.
“To sustain this level of performance, we are continuously optimizing our network, especially in key strategic areas, to ensure that we cater to the increasing demand of subscribers who would like to have higher speeds, lower latency and more reliability from their mobile service for their online needs,” he said.
Santiago said Smart’s self-optimizing network also serves to enhance subscriber experience on compatible handsets such as the recently launched Smart ZTE Blade A75 5G, Smart’s most affordable 5G device.
“We have put in place a self-optimizing network that intelligently adjusts to the needs of our subscribers in order to deliver the best customer experience, whether on 4G/LTE or 5G, wherever they may be in the country,” Santiago said.
