Five Chinese nationals and their Filipino companion were arrested for shooting and wounding two other Chinese individuals at a hotel in Paranaque City.
The suspects, identified as Peng Guowei, Cheng Guoliang, Deng Etouzin, Tu Hongwei, and Liu Deli, were involved in the shooting that took place at Bayview International Tower 1 along Roxas Boulevard on June 15.
The victims, Li Hui and Li Xiang, were taken to Ospital ng Parañaque for medical treatment and are now in stable condition.
The incident was reported to the Tambo Police Sub-station by a barangay watchman at 12:10 a.m.
Responding policemen found the victims with gunshot wounds in Room 1201 and conducted a hot-pursuit operation, resulting in the arrest of four of the suspects at Room 1901 of Bayview Tower 3.
