ARMYs might be counting down the days until K-pop idol j-hope of global group BTS completes his military enlistment.
In a post shared on the fan community platform Weverse, the group’s main dancer revealed that only 30 days remain until he finishes his military service.
“One month, exactly 30 days! Time felt so slow, but now I’ve grown attached to it. As I clean up, giving my well-used items to my juniors and seeing my emptied locker, I feel more sentimental,” j-hope wrote.
He later reflected on the things he learned during his time in the military.
“Looking back, it wasn’t a big deal, but back then, I was so tense. Even the sound of the locker opening would get on my nerves. Seeing the new recruits now, I feel a connection with them and find myself smiling at how I used to be. I’m proud of my time here! I feel good about it,” he continued.
j-hope also expressed his warm wishes for his fans this Chuseok.
“I hope the peace in everyone’s homes continues, and my heart is fluttering like a dove with happiness during this Chuseok. Though it’s a bit of a warm Chuseok, I wish you all a prosperous holiday,” j-hope added.
“I hope autumn comes soon. I’ll see you next month. Until then, please take care and stay healthy,” concluded the K-pop idol.
